What is Ultimate Warfront?
         Ultimate Warfront is a sprawling, homebrewed Warhammer 40k game set in the expansive galaxy of the Loyacrum Sector. Players take on the roles of various factions, each with unique goals, in a quest for galactic conquest. The game involves capturing and governing planets, managing and deploying fleets, and engaging in epic void battles. Diplomacy, supply lines, and acquiring different unit types are key aspects of the gameplay. The inclusion of heroes and characters adds depth, combining a rich narrative with intense PvP action. This vast and dynamic game is primarily played through VRChat, and Battlefleet Gothic creating an immersive experience where strategy and storytelling come to life.


 

Galactic Conquest

Galactic Conquest Overview:

The game unfolds in a vast galaxy filled with diverse sectors and planets. Players must strategically capture and control these celestial bodies to expand their faction’s influence and dominance. Each team has unique goals and objectives aligned with their faction's lore and strategic needs, creating a dynamic and immersive gameplay experience.

Headquarters:

  • Declaration and Importance:

    • Each faction’s headquarters is a crucial strategic point marked on the map and declared on the official website.
    • Losing the headquarters results in the loss of the campaign if the faction does not control any other planets and its fleet is wiped out.
  • Survival Rules:

    • If a faction loses its headquarters and has no other planets or an operational fleet, it is eliminated from the campaign

Planet Status and Indicators:

  • Neutral Planets:

    • Status: Not under any faction’s control and open for conquest.
    • Indicator: Marked with a white pill next to the planet.

  • Contested Planets:

    • Status: Currently being fought over by multiple factions, indicating ongoing battles.
    • Indicator: Marked with a red pill next to the planet.

  • Claimed Planets:

    • Status: Firmly under a faction’s control.
    • Indicator: Marked with a pin of the controlling faction above the planet.
    • Example:
       
  • Faction-Controlled Planets Under Attack:

    • Status: A planet under the control of one faction that is being attacked by another.
    • Indicator: The attacking faction's pin is displayed above the defending faction’s pin, with a red pill next to it.

Conquering Planets:

  • Neutral Planets:

    • To conquer neutral planets, factions must follow these rules:
      • Only use your faction's unit roster and avatars unlocked from progression.
      • Host the battle on the VRChat world that represents the planet on the map.
      • Notify a Game Master and an editor for the website after the battle.
      • The battle's events are recorded on the planet's article, and the planet is claimed by the victorious faction.
  • Faction-Controlled Planets:

    • Attacking these planets involves both space and ground battles.
    • Defenders must prepare their fleet to repel the invasion before ground combat ensues.
    • Victory requires the attacker to win the ground battle to claim the planet.

Invasion Rules:

Neutral Worlds:

  • Planning Battles:

    • Factions may use normal means of planning battles, utilizing these casual battles for their invasions.
  • Unit Restrictions:

    • Only use your faction's unit roster, strictly adhering to avatars that have been unlocked through progression.
  • Battle Hosting:

    • Host the battle on the VRChat world that represents the planet on the map.
  • Post-Battle Procedure:

    • Once the battle is fought, notify a Game Master and an editor for the website.
    • The battle’s events are recorded on the planet's article, and the planet is officially claimed by the victorious faction.

Warfront Rules for Battles Between Two Teams:

  • When two teams are battling using Warfront rules, the following expectations apply:
    • Both teams must strictly adhere to Warfront rules, including unit restrictions and progression-based avatars.
    • Battles must be hosted on the appropriate VRChat worlds.
    • After the battle, the outcome must be reported to a Game Master and an editor for the website to record the events and update the planet's status.
