Magick and mortals don 't mix...
At least, that's what Aven Naeris, a blacksmith apprentice, was taught all their life. But that changed when Aven ran into an elven woman who has more knowledge of magick than she should.
Loïck Xieren, the crown prince of the Eruira Empire, has run away from home in search of his Destined. The only thing he hadn't expected was to find his Destined getting involved with kidnapping the prince of his home kingdom of Xovaria. However, Loïck must face a tough obstacle when he learns that Aven despises everything magick and dragonkin.
Together, these two embark on a journey of clearing Aven's name while learning to love one another, but to do so, they will need to learn to overcome their own differences. As darkness is drawn to light, but the light does not see it, will the light absorb the darkness and therefore save the world?
