Jassa

Interior Sanctum
Jassa tapped his finger listlessly from his white stone chair deep in the Interior Sanctum, the endless white void of the pocket dimension slowly beginning to give him a headache. He had been waiting for what felt like ages when the shadowed figures of his two allies finally appeared. "You kept me waiting," he said coldly, barely hiding his annoyance.
The man with the opera mask, Orpheus, just laughed. "Lady Xana is not beholden to your time table, Jassa. You are on hers."
Jassa's throat made a snake like hiss in Orpheus' direction as he reached for his butterfly knife. Xana, the white haired and yellow eyed deity that was their superior snapped her fingers, creating a booming echo that silenced Jassa's hiss. "Silence, Jassa. You are a valued agent, not some rabid animal. Behave yourself."
He smirked, tipping his hat in mock respect. "You must excuse me. I lost my temper for a moment."
Xana glared at him, her eyes turning red with anger. "You are fortunate that I don't have any divine punishment planned for you yet. You know the consequences if I do."
Jassa nodded. "But of course, Lady Xana. I'm merely...anxious...to get underway."
"Then get underway you shall. You have proven valuable as an insider for the Post War Administration Bureue, but the time has come to begin."
He smirked, trying his best to hold in his growing urge to laugh. "What is my target?"
Xana smiled, sensing his eagerness to do what he does best. "The Nexus Core in Highland City Anatolia shall be your first objective. Once it is destroyed...and an ample number of combatants amassed, we shall proceed to the next."
Jassa grinned. "I will see to it personally, Lady Xana."
She nodded. "As you wish."
Orpheus sighed. "Why do we trust this snake of a man, Lady Xana?"
"Because he is untrustworthy," she said with a grin. "He is a flawless agent. Orpheus, you have your objective as well."
"Of course...I will remain on standby should Jassa need any assistance."
Xana nodded. "That is good. You are to help him however possible. And I will see you both when we return. That is all."
The two shadowed figures bowed before vanishing into thin air. Jassa, now left all alone, couldn't contain himself anymore as he began to cackle with cruel intent.
