I am baffled by the Christians who ask
why I am choosing to convert
As if religion is all head and no heart.
As if I am expected to procure a long list
Judiasm doesn't require a steadfast belief in God.
Judiasm doesn't tell you disagreement is wrong.
I feel at home at my synagogue.
Do you yourself provide such a list
every time you transfer membership
to a new church?
Or is it explanation enough to say
you followed God's calling?
Is it so hard to believe
that God might call
one to transfer membership
not only from church to church
but also from faith to faith?
