From entering the Labyrinth, Bella started to gain a sense of anxiety. Her hands began to sweat as her knees buckled with every step. The further they walked the darker it got to the point Bella grew dizzy trying to process her spatial awareness. Bella’s eyes became heavy and each foot dragged after the other, and soon after her calling for Egore stopped she was fast asleep. Bella woke up in a white marble room, elegantly built with an open ceiling for the stars to be seen even during the day. As Bella rubbed her eyes and climbed to her feet a strange innocent voice could be heard in the distance. “New Friend…”, Bella’s instinct told herself. And before she could think she was already jogging towards the melody. Bella’s intuition isn’t wrong it’s just inexperienced, what can you expect from a 7 year old. But in this world Bella was Queen… she created and ruled over everything, learning how to control such power was another recipe. The melody grew louder as she jogged to what seemed to be a marble white staircase, “the entire labyrinth must be marble”, Bella thought to herself. As she stood at the very bottom of the staircase fear disguised itself as excuses, “I can’t go up there what if it’s too big… and scary, or it’s nothing.” Right before given in to her insecurities Egore pops his head over the balcony of the staircase, “Are you coming up slow poke?”. This put a smile on her face and as she rushed up the stairs her anxiety disappeared. Together Egore and Bella followed the singing voice to its source. From entering what seemed to be a little girls bedroom the singing stopped, and they were greeted by that same singing voice, “Pleasure to meet you Red”. Bella must of been admiring the room they had entered because on noticing the little girl Bella let out a short squeak out of surprise. Bella looked at the girl and noticed the girl looked identical to her but with black hair… “ Who are you, and why are we in my room?”. The new girl smiled at Bella while reaching out to shake her hand, “I’m Alice pleasure it is meeting you”, that’s when Bella turned to Egore, “— she’s your I..”, “Let’s fly my paper airplane”, Alice grabs Bella’s hand as she interrupts Egore who chases them out into the distance. Bella enjoyed spending time with her new found friend Alice. Alice was nice and sweet just like her but Alice had a temper. Alice didn’t care to ask about how others would feel first, Alice just did what pleased her most. It often lead to selfish behavior and non familiar consequences. Bella noticed Alice would never finish anything she was always moving to the next activity or attracted to something new. Bella couldn’t keep up and grew exhausted to Alice’s incompetence, they even didn’t get to finish riding the spoon down Rocky Road Mountain. Ever time Bella would want to try something she was dragged away by Alice to a new area. On approaching the Gumdrop Drop, Alice with no hesitation tries to jump. That’s when Bella planted her feet in the ground and refused. This turned Alice as red as a apple, ‘I want jelly, I want jelly!” Alice screamed pointing to the jelly filled ocean below. Bella explained to Alice how every time they reach a activity she never got the chance to participate because Alice was only looking out for herself and she didn’t want to play anymore. This brought tears to Alice eyes, Alice didn't want to lose her new friend. Alice was just excited by all the fun she was having she didn’t stop to think if they were having fun together. Bella realized how important balancing her own wants and desires with the needs of others can be. So Bella taught Alice how to consider others before herself by taking turns picking activities. What seemed a day full of playing only represented minutes to reality. Bella was woken up from her Mom to pick what she wanted to eat for Breakfast. As Bella rubbed her eyes to adjust to the day light she noticed they were in the drive through of her favorite food place, The Chocolate Moose. The Chocolate Moose was a small coffee shop that sold breakfast and brunch. Bella picked her go to favorite Royalty Cakes, 2 fluffy pancakes, with your Choice of meat and eggs, a meal for a Princess she thought to herself. The crew of The Chocolate Moose even sung Happy Birthday to Bella while given her a free muffin with a candle and tiara on top, a Princess she was. As mom drove away the excitement inside Bella almost kept her awake. “Where to next Bella… Bella... Bell?! From turning out the parking lot Bella’s Mom looked in the rear view mirror to notice Bella already fast asleep.
Three friends, Bella, Alice and Egore walk down the chocolate path effortlessly. From stopping to tie their shoes or just sitting to admire the view “The End of the Rainbow” truly expressed Bella’s innocent imagination. The colorful world was home to elf’s, dwarves, and fairies who lived in houses made of pillows. Following the chocolate road will always lead you to Lollipop Landing, where the fairies say all rainbows ends. From candy forest to mountains of ice cream scoops this land was a delight to see. One living in Bella’s imagination had no means to work but created everyday. Playing games with friends and celebrating each other’s accomplishments was the normal standard in all of the lands. “Ughhh We have been walking forever” bickered Alice… The group of three had walked every path and visited every place in the lands. “let’s go to Hi Punch Lake...” Egore suggested, ”… I can show you guys my belly flop again”. Bella shrugged Egore off her shoulder as she threw a piece of candy corn into the jelly ocean, “How about we find something new?”. Egore turned to Bella in distraught… “But But But But why… we could get lost, or even worse we could get hurt!”. Egore goes to cover his face with what seemed to be his ears. “How about there!?”, Alice points to a round roof temple that mysteriously floated on the jelly before them. As both Bella and Egore turned to discover the unknown, Egore is pushed into the jelly. Bella looks around in shock as Alice jumps in right after him because she knows she’s next. Bella watches the two from the peanut butter sand swim towards the temple. As they both climb onto the temple’s platform Bella grows sad that she fears she can’t cross to get to her friends. The loneliness starts to sit and Bella’s cheeks start to run heavy. “Come on Bella you got this”, yells Egore from the temple. Alice disappears into the building as Egore stands at the edge of the temple’s platform. “I can’t Egore…”, “I di…” Egore is snatched away swiftly. “… I can’t I’m not…” Bella raises her head to see she was alone. “Egore!” Bella yells. “Alice? You guys stop playing this isn’t funny”. Bella paces up the beach as she studies the mysterious temple her friends disappeared into. She thought to herself if she couldn’t gather enough confidence to cross she would be alone forever again. This brought tears to Bella’s eyes and as the tears a puddled the ground a form emerged. “Now Bella are you scared to swim because you look scared to dream” Bella turned away to not look to the figure that stated such remark. “I’m not scared of anything, I’m alone and I hate being alone” Bella scrambles out while still crying. The figure picked Bella up and carried her across to the platform of the temple. “Never forget my Dear Bella listen not to your desires for they only bring happiness seek enlightenment in your creations and value your actions for others, Your not alone I’m always here.” Bella tears stopped and she looked up to see she was at the foot of the round roof temple. Bella looked across the lands to embrace her new perspective on valuing her actions. As she enters the temple she is greeted by Alice who is propped against a corner wall. Alice had over indulged in drinking bottles of jelly found in the cupboards of the temple’s kitchen area. Her oversized belly said enough so Bella didn’t bother to ask her if she seen Egore. Bella walked the halls of the Temple in search of Egore, with the absence of Alice, Bella notice a greater sense of self assurance. Bella thought more on the sense, clearly it was because Alice was impulsive but maybe the more Bella accepted herself to be in the presence helped her see her own strengths and weaknesses for what they were. Too many voices leads to indecisive decisions and to develop a strong sense of of self is gaining a strong sense of why. Bella carelessly forgets the very world she hides in she controls, you can’t run from the mirror you must embrace her ego. The problem wasn’t Bella’s reality or imagination… the problem was Bella didn’t belief her own power in her own game. As Bella walked the halls she noticed her confidence grow, she felt she was no longer alone for the voice in her head spoke in her best interest, out of a higher purpose. Bella stopped at the foot of the temple door where she once feared to enter and without doubt said, “Egore stop hiding”. Egore appeared from beside her contemplating, “How did you know, ugh it’s not fun when you know”. Bella looked to Egore with a smile, “I have a surprise for you” Bella announced and with a flick of her hand a flower appeared. Followed by giving Egore the flower, Bella manifested a book, a birthday cake and 3 balloons that was all handed to Egore. Bella smile grew bigger as the balloons slowly carried Egore away higher and higher until he disappeared into the stars above. Bella let out a sigh of relief and closed her eyes. And there she was sitting in the car as she knew. The car came to a slow halt as Bella and her mom arrived home from running errands this morning. “We’re home sweetheart” Mom smiles to Bella as she reaches to Bella in the backseat to wipe her curls from her eyes.
