The Beginning marks recorded history based on human perception. At this point, Wayin placed humanity on Earth and completed his experiments in Heaven, producing the Seven Aeshuahim and the host of Serafim (named for Serafiel). This is the “birth point” for Azarael, Rafael, Uriel, Gabriel, Michael, Saraqel, and Raziel.
2344 - The Flood and the Twenty Flocks
Humanity flourished on Earth and Wayin continued to train his angels as a loyal military force. After spending enough time watching humans, some of the angels asked for permission to descend to Earth and take wives for themselves. Yahweh refused the request, spurring the rebellion of the Twenty Flocks lead by the angel later known as Lucifer. Lucifer led 200 rebellious angels down to Earth, triggering the phenomenon later called “falling,” in which their wings lost the white masking to reveal the hidden natural patterns and restored the angelic ability to distance-speak or pe. Lucifer and his angels settled among humans and developed families and relationships.
Outraged at their rebellion, Wayin sent the serafim down to wipe out the families of the angels as a punishment. They were specifically told to target the children and grandchildren of angels. Azarael as the Aeshua of death, led the strikes. The Fallen Flocks attempted to fight back to protect their families but were eventually overwhelmed and destroyed. A few of the angels managed to escape into the wilderness, including Lucifer and several of his descendants. When Wayin learned that there were survivors, he protected his chosen people and sent a flood to wipe out all of humanity, determined to destroy the children of angels.
2000 BC - The Tower of Babel
In the generations following the flood, humanity moved westward and eventually split into different tribes with different languages. At this point, many cultures lost their history of having ever mingled with angels and the nefilim in their midst went deeper into hiding until they themselves forgot their heritage.
30 BC - Jeshua
Occasionally through history, nefilim DNA continued to come together with enough quantity to result in an angel born of human parentage. It was very rare and usually resulted in the destruction of the child and mother both as monsters. In Nazareth, one of Wayin's Aeshuahim, Gabriel became smitten with a human girl, Mariem. Under cover of darkness, he accidentally impregnated her and uncovered her nefil heritage. Azarael and Rafael--who happened to be visiting Earth on off-duty time--helped him convince Mariem’s husband to raise the child as his own while they struggled to hide the egg-birth.
When Wayin found out about the child, rather than being enraged, he became curious and developed a fondness for Jeshua. He claimed the natural angel as his own offspring--much to Gabriel’s relief--and the story of the Gospel played out until Jeshua’s death on the cross at the hands of the Romans. Rather than allowing his complete death, Wayin elevated Jeshua from seraf to eben petra, giving him a position of power and respect in Heaven.
1938 AD - WWII and the Second Fall
As unrest grew in Europe, many angels who had been assigned to posts within Poland, Austria, and Germany requested permission to intervene in the inhumane activity against Jews, homosexuals, and Romani people. Wayin had enforced a strict non-interference policy after the Jeshua incident and refused. Horrified by what they were witnessing, many angels chose to rebel and fall rather than stand by and do nothing. They entered the human population in the years following WWII and humans and angels once again lived on Earth together.
Angelic Migration
After their fall, the fallen angels wandered throughout the world, settling in places that interested them or spoke to them personally. Unbeknownst to them, most of the fallen were drawn to the locations of Shin’s gates. This resulted in a high concentration of fallen living in Northern Michigan, Arizona, Chile (many in Santiago), Jerusalem, Uluru Park in Australia, Egypt (particularly in Giza), and the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania. Fallen angels could be found almost everywhere on Earth, but these regions saw a much higher population density.
Wasting Fall
Once removed from angelic sources of water and the algae chloroplasts contained therein, fallen angels began to fall ill. The disease greatly resembled human fibromyalgia and other autoimmune disorders, but because the fallen were reluctant to submit themselves to human medical examination (which they equated with unethical experimentation), many fallen angels died in extreme agony and without any sign of a cure or treatment for what became known as Wasting Fall or kerubora in Duafric.
1975 AD - The Abandonment
Wayin decided that he had had his fill of managing and observing Earth as it was. He chose to select his favorite human heritages and moved them on to a fresh world. When questioned by the aeshuahim, he told them they were free to do what they wished with Earth and the remaining humans. He also told them that he was ceasing production of new serafim. This meant that the current clutch, in the care of trainers Rishonael and Miloel would be the final cohort of fledglings. Azarael brought the trainers the news, along with his personal claim on them.
1990 AD - The Last Fledglings
Rishonael, the only seraf to identify as female and having renamed herself Rishona, raised the final clutch of fledglings alongside her long-time partner, Milo. When Azarael returned in 1990--almost three years earlier than training usually dictated--Rishona and Milo insisted that the fledglings were not ready to graduate to active duty. Azarael charged them with corrupting the fledglings when all seven fledglings addressed Rishona as their mother, then ordered one of his personal assassins to ifeini uratsal, or break her wings. In this context, the phrase meant to break both her wings and banish her from the Blessed Choir. Uratsal is the highest form of punishment in angelic society. Haniel the assassin obeyed, breaking both of Rishona’s wings and throwing her from the training cliffs. Milo, in a flash of sudden realization, followed her over the edge and saved her, defying Azarael’s orders and falling himself in the process. Rishona and Milo fled to Earth as refugees and were protected by the fallen angel community in and around Marquette, Michigan.
