However, others would argue that written texts are merely a tool used to record practices and faith, time stamps to further solidify the mythos of the gods. Nonetheless, whether the gods emerged from primordial waters, or through the manifestation of faith given shape and image, their influence upon the mortal realm and mortal life is undeniable.
