IC: The tribe has returned to the village after their recent victory in Feralas. Attention has been returned to the zeppelin construction and the upcoming journey which would bring the Skyrunner to a more nomadic lifestyle under Kanatu's leadership. Upon the return to the village, the tribe would have noticed two new faces among their number. Some traveling traders from Thunderbluff have made mention of the scourge running rampant over Kalimdor, but so far there have been no sightings in Desolace.

Character Updates 11/16/20
❏ Ospira: Ospira sat by the pond, her eyes following a bee as it floated lazily from one flower to another. Water trickled, leaves rustled, and Thunder Bluff showed no signs of imminent doom. So what did the vision mean, then? A wolf will eat the sun. A village glows ardent with deadly flames. The wolf and the wyvern, circling each other - locked in a duel with no clear victor. "Spirits?" She whispered, looking up at the sky. "Can you hear me?" No response, of course. The spirits don't answer, especially to the likes of her. "Listen. I don't know why you gave me this vision, but I'm taking it seriously. So if heading to Desolace is the right path, just.. give me a sign?" There was a long moment of silence. With a twinge of annoyance, Ospira pushed herself up to a stand. 'Piss on the spirits,' she thought, 'I'll do what I think is right, then. Where did that Kanatu go?'
❏ Venzolo: Venzolo had spent almost all of his time since the tribe had returned from feralas working on the skyship. So much so that it seemed he had not slept for several days straight. Although he and Lorena bickered endlessly they were making good progress on completing the skyship. Venzolo enlisted the aid of almost everyone in the village who could work to make the final push towards finishing the skyship. He seemed eager to finish it as fast as possible and seemed to work even harder after hearing the disturbing rumors of undead scourge attacking cities throughout Azeroth. His lack of sleep and drive to see the skyship completed made him even more irritable than usual and anyone he caught slacking or making a mistake got a violent tongue lashing and a kick to the shins. Even though almost all his time was devoted to completing the skyship some may have noticed that he stole a large pot from Harnor and dragged it into the Kodo graveyard. Seems he was up to something. Even so his efforts were bearing fruit at last as the final phase of the construction neared completion. After several days straight of nonstop work as Venzolo sat watching the balloons being filled with phlogiston, he felt a little relief. As the sun began to rise on the latest day of work and the attached balloons were being filled with phlogiston the skyship gently began to float for the first time. As soon as the skyship floated for the first time a small smile would cross Venzolo’s lips before he slumped asleep where he had been watching from.
❏ Illgast: Before returning to the village, Ilgast made a detour to Thunderbluff to relinquish the wolf totem to the shaman there, as per the request of Doomwinter. Upon arriving, he noticed the city much busier than usual. Tales of rampant scourge in Northrend, the death of Nathanos Blightcaller, kidnappings, and the like. But no, he'd pay them no mind, for now. He'd bring what he heard back to the village and hear the thoughts of the elders before acting. He still hears Mahala's words echoing in his ears before setting a perimeter doing their foray into Feralas. He replayed the passed experience over in his mind. He made mistakes, some turned out for the better yes, but mistakes nonetheless, if they thought him incapable, it was surely his own fault. Clever words and lies could only take you so far. He'd been lucky. He'd return to the village. He'd prove himself useful on their next endeavor, so he hoped.
❏ Doomwinter: Doomwinter had little time to even begin feeling more comfortable in her own skin before the news of the Scourge came in, leaving her in doubt as to whether her emerging nature as a death knight was in fact her coming to grips with what she was, or now possibly a conveniently timed side effect of the Scourge once again marching across the land, as well as a possible omen of things to come. While she still spent no small amount of time staring to the north, unlike her earliest days in the village, she could be seen more active, making a point of trying to speak to elders in particular in regard to the Hunt leading up to the Offering of the Blooded Feather. In the meantime, when it wasn't busy helping Doomwinter prepare supplies for her hunt, her ghoul companion got right back to the business of visiting Hotah when allowed, and when the rescued bull seemed amenable to visitors. Eck brought along new little trinkets and doodads it had collected for simple arts and crafts and game time. Remembering the rules of games was hard for the ghoul of little brain, but the net effect seemed to be consistent - Hotah could always win, and that always seemed to please Eck to no end.
❏ Mahala: Since returning to the village, Mahala took only a little time for herself to spend catching up with Narv, Nataka and some of the other villagers. She has many projects in mind with so little time to do them... or so she thinks. With the village back together once again, Mahala threw herself into work, be that any leatherworking needs required of her or any physical labor, her mind was very much focused on her tasks. She hadn't introduced herself to the new arrivals, as she usual took her time with such things, but through the rumors spread around the village, she knew a little about them and what was happening outside the desert. She admitted that the waves of undead concerned her, but there was little she could do about it from the village, and so she chose not to think about it much.
❏ Dursk: Having been back in the village for some time already, Dursk was intrigued by the arrival of two new faces. He had been steady at work helping out where he could in the village, especially with Kireena, so when he was given a chance, he took time to try to hunt down the newcomers for a chance to introduce himself. He was pleased to see everyone back in the village mostly safe and sound. He allowed himself limited free time in order to help keep things efficient, but when he did get a chance he would spend it with Samiwa. He had been through much with the wyvern, and he found a sense of kinship there even if the wyvern couldn't reply to him with words. He would tell her about his day, stories about his life or Orgrimmar, and on occasion, speak to her about Shogra and the problems the orcess presented him, almost as if the wyvern would be able to give him advice in return. He was proud of his feather hunt, though the conversations he had had with Shogra left a somewhat bitter taste in his mouth. He knew she was right, he just couldn't quite figure out what to do about it.
❏ Korgig: The Mag’har had plenty to do after returning to the village. The forge was still needed to finish the zeppelin construction and he was needed to oversee Muuran’s work on it. Along with that was the shield Narv had gifted him. So far it hasn’t left the weapon rack in his hut. He believed its legacy was owed more than just reinforcing it. It needed to be special, at least in his eye.
He had been seen leaving the village early during the day to hunt with Torgara and continue explaining the dynamic of this clan compared to the Warsong. He believed he gained more insight to the workings of the tribe and his place among it. Being named Towateke, and the honors and glory he had received from the chieftain was weighing on him. The Mag’har decided changes would need to made to full live up to the title of “Champion” which was a title he had heard over and over since he returning, not that he minded in the least.
❏ Atuluki: The reclusive troll has been seen walking around the village more openly now, trailed by a much larger Nifu. The falcosaur has grown considerably and is showing traits of an adult more clearly, though the young playful demeanor of the spry Snowfeather is still apparent. When she's in the village, she's often hanging out with the new sand troll, Tali'zon, talking and cracking jokes while crouched near a brazier or even out in the grass fields, playing games with Nifu. A decent-sized pond and water shrine, surrounded by golden carved totems has popped up on the far outskirts of the Kodo Graveyard, next to Atuluki's tent. A big water elemental can be seen wandering freely around it or lingering with the troll periodically throughout the day, often spraying critters that were unfortunate enough to wander near. Atuluki has voiced that she wished to speak to the Chieftain when he was available, as she presumed she would follow through with his request to talk to her after her journey.
❏ Jaeva: Since traveling back to the village, the healer has been spending most of her time helping around with the zeppelin, tending to the herbs, and taking care of her sick patients brought in by the changing weather. Though with her duties finished around dinner time, she often finds herself seeking out Kanatu to spend the evenings chatting and enjoying their company. She is eager to visit Pandaria, the smile on her face and near childlike glee evident in her eyes when topics are brought up about the mist-shrouded continent.
❏ Enyetof: Enyetof spent the night before the groups return home scouring the ruins for any lingering effects of Olokas’ work. In particular, he has gathered anything that could be useful in undoing any similar corruption, and destroying anything that could be used to replicate it. The return home has brought a strange energy to the Plagueshifter, and news of the Scourge once again on the march seems to have set him to a grim determination in his work around the village. - Enyetof has requested to speak with Java, Ruhanik, Mahala, and Doomwinter, once the group is able to rest. There is much to be done, and not much time to do it, according to the druid.
❏ Harnor and Lorena: The cook was typically an easygoing man but the last several days, since the full might of the tribe joined back together, he had seemed sullen and a bit sad. He still went about his work, providing excellent meals for everyone but there was no singing from the kitchens and a little less spice to the meat. When Venzolo stole his pot he didn't raise a fuss, he knew he would get it back eventually or otherwise would get a new one and he didn't have the energy to argue at present. Whatever was troubling him though he didn't seem to lose his soft heart as when he saw the little goblin passed out in the dirt he gathered him up and brought him to his workshop where Lorena directed him to a makeshift pair of beds they had been using during the project as Venzolos actual house was yet incomplete. Once Harnor tucked the goblin in Lorena took over caring for him. Dispite her own tired eyes she managed to remove the goblin's hat, boots and shirt, prepare a new set of coffee grounds for when they both woke, and then passed out herself in the second bed leaving Harnor to hum in amusement with a soft expression before leaving back to the kitchens, his head low.
❏ Hotah and the Elves: Hotah had shown little improvement since his return but there was an improvement. It was most noticeable to those that had gone away to the Barrens and to Feralas. He had put on some weight. He no longer looked like skin and bones but he was nowhere near a healthy tauren weight. For whatever reason his appetite was tiny and he had a hard time with the heavily spiced meals Harnor made so the cook always managed to make something special that was bland as possible. Harnor had at last been able to be moved to a new location, leaving Kanatu's quarters as his own again. The elf priestess that Muuran had nearly killed out of rage had recovered as well, able to walk about the village under the supervision of Dasota but she never seemed to wander far from Hotah. Sparing her and nursing her back to health seemed to have been the right choice as she was able to speak with Hotah more than any other member of the tribe, even those that had not known him before his ill-treatment at the hands of the Forgotten. They would often be seen sitting together in the soft grasses just before the Glade began and speaking of simple things if they spoke at all. Harnor no longer cowered in fear and lashed out in anger to those that had known him before and he didn't quiver when anything familiar came up to him though he still refused to do anything with the wyverns; they terrified him.
The interrogator had been left to fend for himself in his cage. Though the Nightborne had been visited a few times by the Primal Bearskull they didn't ever seem to speak, just stare at one another. The man was cared for with good food, clean water, and shade on the hottest days though as of yet he had not been pressed for questions. Not been dragged out and beaten for what he had done to Hotah, Enyetof, and Koza before she left. Those crimes were still unanswered and so fat the Forgotten seemed to have abandoned the man to their enemies. No attempt at rescue had been made and Bearskull, when he was in a talking mood, assured Kanatu that they likely wouldn't ever come for the Nightborne.
❏ Dehokon, Shogra, and Brarsent: Once Dursk had his fill of the Hunt Shogra returned to the village with him and then at once seemed to set about work with her remaining war kodo and helping with the zeppelin. She had agreed to stay with the tribe for a time upon Dursk's request as the gentle giant Brarsent didn't have any complaints. Their trade contacts smoothly became Kireena's contacts and the war kodo, one half-blind from the assault on the Forgotten camp to get Hotah back, were put to use managing the crane and pulling heavy objects about. Though they were far too large to take on the zeppelin itself Shogra agreed to keep them at the village under the care of Dehokon who had taken up most of the responsibilities of caring for the kodo, plainstriders, goats, pigs, boars, and chickens, not to mention the wyverns while Iko was still south with the Highperch. The quiet triplet hadn't complained once about these tasks and he went about his work with his usual silent pace.
❏ Torgara: Had spent a great deal of time helping the tribe in the absence of it's better warriors, and had also spent even more time with Kanatu himself when the Chieftain had time to spare. They would go the Ring of Bone, as Torgara had named it, and spar for long hours while they spoke. It seemed that Kanatu had an easy friendship with the Mag'har woman, just as he did with Korgig himself. She was a stout warrior with a personality as large as Korgig's and she took to her promise of giving her waring spirit to the tribe in the Towateke's absence seriously. She spoke to just about everyone, asking questions about this clan and why the ship was not a war vessel fixed with cannons and why individuals like the Nightborne were allowed to live still. When Korgig returned she spent much of her time with him. Whenever he was not working in the forge she could be seen at his side speaking of these things and more though there was an air of departure about her. She hadn't agreed to take to the ship which was so near complete, and she had given no word as to her intentions to stay in the village once the others were gone. Her fate it seemed was undecided.
❏ Ruhanik and Dakoda: The elder, upon return from his trip to Thunderbluff, had found something to do as usual. From directing the wood shaping crews on how to properly carve tauren pictograms and magic runes into the hull of the vessel to bless it, to speaking with the Kaldorei Priestess about Hotah, to passing on last moment training to Dakoda. Though the young bull was not happy about it Ruhanik had counseled him that the best choice for his training and his tribe was to remain in the village, to serve Nataka as he leads in Kanatu's absence. The pair could be seen together almost constantly and Dakoda, prone to melancholy emotions, was quiet and surly to anyone who approached. Even Enyetof when he came to ask Ruhanik for his ear. He had bowed stiffly and moved off, his metal leg squealing like a wounded pig.
❏ The Horde Representatives: Takala, the Blademaster in charge of the other two Horde soldiers that lived in the village, had been sending and getting many reports of the scourge and what was happening outside in the world. He often spoke to Kanatu about these matters. He let it be known that he, and his two companions, were ordered to remain in Desolace to keep an eye on things so the village would have their protection though he did voice worry about how few people were left in the village. It was a problem that Kanatu himself had worried about and he asked Takala if he could request more from the Horde to help defend the village. The answer is still unknown.
❏ Winona and Tyshas: The two young tauren had been a great help in building the zeppelin. Since their return from Ashenvale and retrieving Hotah from the Forgotten they both seemed a bit more level of head, though not by much. They could be seen practicing their shamanistic rites in the glade or in the Kodo Graveyard but Tyshas still struggled with the most basic of spells. Often breaking out in anger and frustration which would cause the magic to manifest in ways that usually set Winona's pants on fire. Winona herself had put forth the idea that maybe Tyshas should speak with Dakoda or maybe even Nataka about his troubles as something was clearly out of place. Though with the skyship nearly done the idea had been put aside. The two were eager to be off on the ship, to see lands they had never seen before, and that excitement was a tangible thing when around them.
❏ Bonedog: The Laughing Skull orc was as one might expect if they had ever interacted with members of that clan before. He was loud, prone to putting himself in danger and asking people about their skull size. At least when he wasn't helping Lorena and Venzolo with the zeppelin. He was a decent engineer himself though putting him with the goblins was bound to result in more than a few happy explosions. He had taken a liking to Torgara in the absence of Korgig, sparing with her often though the sparing those two did often left bite wounds and Bonedog's right hand had been crushed under her boot leaving him with broken fingers. Their sparing looked more like flailing sand demons than smooth and graceful combat. Bonedog loved it as he loved just about everything so long as it wasn't plants that moved.
❏ Kanatu: The Chieftain was a busy man. Since his return from the Barrens he had been seen with his hand in just about everything as his lifelong dream started to take on a final finished form. He could often be seen staring at the skyship as it was finished up, a proud look on his face as if he were looking at his own child. Spending time with Jaeva seemed to be the only thing he did in the free time that he had, though it was very difficult for him to move past talk of the village, the ship, the coming trip, and other matters of tribe business. That was at least until the night terrors started again. Since his return from Hyjal the tribe would have noticed a distinct lack of their Chieftain's roaring and howling at night. Be it in the village or those who had been out in the Barrens. He still slept fitfully but those seemed to be his usual dreams. With the shattering of the sky in Northrend and the release of the scourge on the land again his nightly torment began even before word reached the tribe of what happened. His sleep was fitful and he returned to binding himself in his sleep so that he wouldn't thrash about so much. He often could be seen napping in strange places as his body needed more sleep than most and he wasn't getting all he needed at night. He had a tired look about him now. Perhaps more so after his trip to Thunderbluff and the two visions that were shared with him. He kept to his own council about these matters, even from Jaeva and Ruhanik and even young Dakoda. Though he often found comfort in sitting in quiet reflection near Jaeva, or speaking about other things with Dakoda. Whatever was the source of his night terrors they seemed to be back in full swing after just a few months of rest.

Character Updates 11/23/20
❏ Venzolo: Venzolo spent the first few days on the skyship setting up his quarters and making sure everything on board was functioning properly. He also spent a great deal of time yelling at those on duty for doing their duties improperly. He seemed more irritable and quick to anger than usual as the Skyship sailed North-East towards Orgrimmar. He hoped that by the time they reached the city he could somehow convince the others to abandon the foolhardy mission to Northrend and turn back south towards Pandaria. During the day when he was at the helm the skyship would often veer wildly off course. Venzolo would argue with the chieftain constantly about nearly everything but especially their planned destination. When questioned why the ship went off course so often Venzolo would simply say he was taking the scenic route to Orgrimmar. But really, he was probably buying time to try and convince others to his way of thinking so he could get the chieftain to turn the ship around.
❏ Illgast: Ilgast would spend much of his time at the bar, mulling over the journey to come. He never thought he'd return to northrend,, let alone to battle the scourge again. And any time not there he would be practicing his leather craft, a battle with the scourge would require new mail. He would watch and learn from the more experienced leather workers in the guild in order to perfect his own.
❏ Doomwinter: While she’d largely kept quiet as ever, Doomwinter was at least a bit more active than was typical of her, during the day at least. At night, she kept to her lookout post, as did, of course, the ghoul, who’d always try to perch on the highest available point. It always made sure to wear its goggles to keep out the wind; sadly for Eck, the glass in the frames was long since broken. She’d also periodically check on Ruhanik to make sure he was awake during his shift. When not on duty, she’d occasionally be seen walking Hotah to or from the lower decks, escorting him through the wyvern deck. She could also be spotted scribing an intricate rune of some sort into the deck outside her quarters. As the ship flew closer to where the land of Kalimdor joined the sea, she made a point of asking Kanatu whether there was to be a stop to re-supply. If they were going to be out over water for a lengthy period, she was going to need to make preparations.
❏ Mahala: On the ship, Mahala threw herself into her duties, doing her best to make sure that she thought as little as possible about the fact that she was now stuck on a giant flying boat. Thankfully her duties were rather simple, albeit tedious, so she didn't have a hard time getting into the groove of things. When her shifts were over or she was given a break she'd toss herself into the leatherworking area, tending to different leathers and getting to work on a few different projects. One of which she used the woodworking skills Venzolo had taught her, carving into an oddly shaped chunk of wood, though nothing seemed to come from it yet. She worked on a few other projects, and had a list of various ideas brewing up on a nearby table. She spent as much time as possible with Narv which unfortunately left limited time to other things.
❏ Dursk: Rooming with all the other orcs and Muuran on the ship would be an interesting experience for Dursk, as it had been many years since he had spent such lengthy amounts of time with any members of his kind, let alone lived with them in the same room. He was going to use this chance to follow Shogra's advice, and as many questions as he had for Korgig, he was having a difficult time trying to figure out how to tell the blacksmith that he was, in fact, not Warsong and instead Blackrock. He was expecting backlash of some kind, but he knew the further things progressed on the path he set them on the worse it would get, plus he felt if there was anyone who could help him with his problems, it would be Korgig, so it would be better to start off with honesty. Aside from the minor turmoil inside his head, Dursk was left to his devices for the most part, helping wherever help was required, but mostly working away at a secret tailoring project. He wasn't necessarily trying to hide it from anyone, but he knew his "client" didn't exactly want the work being advertised, so he kept it to himself for the most part, working away at it with haste.
❏ Korgig: Since leaving the village aboard the airship, the Towateke has split his time between the training arena and the forge. Their final destination had been decided and it was one he looked forward to. The scourge threat was one of legend, by his own understanding. The clan was out numbered and under equipped to handle such a threat. If they would meet them head on and overcome those challenges, none would be able to keep the Skyrunner name far from their lips. That was his hope in all this. To challenge himself and the clan against the greatest of challenges and to be victorious. Victory was not guaranteed, nor would it be easily achieved. That thought weighed heavily on him for his part in Kanatu's decision to travel to meet this enemy head on. Below decks, Korgig was busy working with his cabin mates to make their living quarters as orc as possible. It had been aptly named "Little Orgimmar" and Korgig had even mounted the Warsong banner from his hut beside the door. Quite pleased with being housed with all of these Warsong, aside from Bonedog did bring him some pride in those he would be spending so much time with. The Mag'har had even discussed the possibility of Muuran earning his first tattoos once they landed in Northrend. The apprentice didn't seem nearly as enthused about this as Korgig.
❏ Tali'zon: Tali'zon has been working silently for the most part on personal projects within the village, as well as within the ship. He would act approachable but elected to watch for a large period of time as the group got situated within the ship. His projects if people peek appear to deal with a collection of skulls from various animals and humanoids. Growing accustomed to the skyrunners, it will take time but he'll open up as he speaks with those among the tribe more it seems.
❏ Enyetof: Enyetof has been far from idle. The Plagueshifter is almost constantly doing small things around the ship, whether checking rigging, checking in on the animals, or simply walking the deck. He seems restless, or, more likely, trying to keep himself occupied as to not focus on where they’re going. - Enyetof has requested to speak with Mahala and Doomwinter, along with anyone who had not been to Northrend before.
❏ Harnor: The cook was working with limited space and limited supplies but the food was still top-notch. Full course meals were served on their usual times, early morning with sunrise, and late at night at sunset. Whenever he was working he could be heard singing from the kitchens and apparently Ruhanik had taught him some pirate and Kul'tiran sea shanties. Though this was not a seafaring vessel it was close enough for the cook who had never been so far east past Thunderbluff. He often took to doing some of his prep in an out of the way corner of the top deck to watch the land below. His main task at the moment is to smoke, salt, and sundry all the windserpent meat that didn't make it into the initial feast. He had intended to speak with Dursk before they reached Orgrimmar. The food that he got was for a mild chill in Pandaria. He would need access to things that were not only more fattening but much much more sturdy for hard weather and long months in the dark and cold.
❏ Hotah: The argument that Hotah should never have been brought on board the zeppelin was not an uncommon one in the minds of several. The traumatized bull was no help at all with tasks about the ship and more often than not got in the way. Each sunset he was brought above deck by Doomwinter who had to damn near carry him through the third deck as he would close his eyes and go ridged as a case of rigor mortis whenever he was near one, saw one, or smelled one. After his return to the village, the wyverns had quickly figured out it was best to avoid their previous wyvern master as the bull was absolutely terrified of them. He would then spend his night wandering around the stern, top, and second decks. Sometimes he would stand near to others that were about and look at them. If it was someone that he had once known he got a very confused look but wouldn't say anything even when spoken to. If it was someone that he didn't know before he would sometimes tell them a weak hello. Dakoda and Harnor split the responsibilities of making sure that Hotah ate at both meals, and when it was necessary washing him down with a damp cloth. Though that often was a team effort because he was still frightened of water. Even making him drink water was a chore sometimes. Though for every drain on their resources that the bull was on time, energy, and resources, he was getting better. He was starting to put on a little weight at last, actively listening to subjects so long as they weren't about tauren, the village, or anyone he once knew, and he could be seen actually talking to Eck. Not like he talked to his plant or the furniture, of course; Eck moved and sounded too much like a person for that, but simple scentences. Observations sometimes or asking questions that the poor brainless ghoul couldn't answer.
❏ Shogra, and Brarsent: Shogra, while living with the orcs had certainly made a particular splash, otherwise kept to herself in her perch or was shadowed by the giant Brarsent. The two could be heard speaking about their destination often and about the tribe as a whole. They had lived within the village for about two months now and come to learn a great deal about them on the whole. Shogra seemed to be fairly unhappy considering she had agreed to go to Pandaria as Dursk asked but not to Northrend. She wouldn't back out on the deal because her Warsong blood was singing for the challenge but she was still a bit unhappy. Brarsent however had found the idea to be surprisingly agreeable. Though he was no fighter at all and had few magical or combat skills other than being so huge that most things ran away from him anyway, he might have been overheard telling his orc companion that he felt at peace with it. Just as he had when he convinced Shogra to help the tribe in the first place in Ashenvale. He even polished his antlers one night and asked for advice on painting them from Kanatu.
❏ Lorena: For the most part Lorena has been keeping her head down. Where Venzolo is irritable she simply seems to have the air of someone going about their work and then going to have a good long drink at the bar and then passing out. Her work is helping to keep the engine running smoothly and getting the tribe moving forward and she can often be seen trying to speak to Venzolo in a calm manner but if Venzolo so much as raises his voice at her she walks away, her mechanical spider snapping its metal pincers at him to keep him from following. She remains mostly solitary but for the company of Bonedog.
❏ Dasota: Though Dasota was one of the perpetual uplifted spirits around the village and on the ship after about five days there was a shift in his mood. Everyone would notice his more quiet nature and those in his cabin might notice that on more than one occasion he woke up, sitting bolt upright with a flail of his arms and breathing as if he had deadlifted Korgig a hundred times. He would lay back down and settle his breath until morning. The only one he seemed to talk to was Dakoda. Other than this he went about his work on the ship with his usual excellence and had the night shift on a very hard workout regimen that left them all sore and hungry.
❏ Muuran: The youngest member of the tribe was getting used to the forge and his new work rounds. He wasn't very good at things outside of the forge. His two left duck feet and big hands didn't exactly make for the most nimble of actions. He tripped a lot, knocked things over all the time, dropped things, and seemed to bump his nose or horns on just about anything. He also tried to ask for specific instructions on his to do things like tie knots or cleaning the wood. Any new task was met with wide nervous eyes but he did them with heart at least.
❏ Bonedog: When he's not snoring or shouting bad poetry at Shogra Bonedog is either in the engine room keeping the place together he was up on the stern deck. He had a habit of playing with the ballista and scorpions or climbing up through the ropes and rigging of the balloons and of course challenging anyone who would listen to duals or acts of bravery. He was a good fighter and would be rather deadly if he had weapons in hand but even then many of the fights resulted in deep bruises, surface cuts, and one time a few broken fingers on Bonedog's part from a very sorry Dakoda who had stepped on his hand with the metal foot.
❏ Dakoda: Had taken to his given role as the temporary wyvern master well enough. The wyvern's all seemed to like him well enough and the other animals were easy enough to handle. Still, he spent much of his time reading over various scrolls that Ruhanik had given him, learning different languages from the elder, watching the displays of magic performed by those on the stern deck, and in general just being a wall flower. His main charge was either to tend to Kanatu, or when not giving the Chieftain whatever attention was necessary he was seen with Hotah. Keeping an eye on him. Whenever he was with Hotah he had a very depressed look about him and his ears were always pinned back, expression filled with worry.
❏ Kanatu: While the night terrors continue during his waking hours Kanatu seems as fit and alert as ever even if he is caught napping in the sun from time to time. He helps where he can among the crew and the tribe and seems to have developed a case of restlessness. He's hardly sitting or standing still for long. Sparing with the orcs and other tauren in the On'davo arena, doing climbing races through the rigging up to the balloons against Dasota, flying as much as possible without Lo'eshk'ahy falling behind the faster zeppelin, even helping Harnor to cook. Perhaps he was always this restless and it was just more noticeable as the brick of a bull was confined to a tiny space.
@everyone
Today is world update day!
IC: The Windchaser left the village twelve days ago. After the stop in Orgimmar for supplies it is once again headed for Northrend. Ruhanik and Dakoda have made mention of wishing to gather the tribe for story circles. There have also been some talks about preparing some training exercises for when the tribe finally meets the scourge in the frozen north, this will most likely be centered around combat tactics and strategies.
OOC: [World Updates, or Character Updates, are player written blurbs of character activities that do not necessarily need to be played out in-game and are meant to give an insight into a character's day to day life in addition to what they are doing currently within the story and provide story hooks for other players to go and RP with that individual. We post these on Discord for people to read and interact with one another.]
Special notes:
- Be sure to list what your character may have done during the brief stop in Orgimmar. Who would they have visited? What supplies would they have tried to barter?
-Be sure to add updates for your alts as well as your main characters. Even those remaining behind in the village should have an update.
-DM all character updates to Korgig (Wal’ami) in discord by 4pm server today. If we don't receive them we can't add them to the guild's story!
-Don't make me come find you.
Character Updates 11/30/20
❏ Venzolo: Venzolo had a lot of business to take care of in Orgrimmar and he spent almost no time on the ship at all once they arrived for their short pit stop. After securing some special food and booze ingredients he went over to the bank. Now that his legal troubles had been cleared up Venzolo could access some of the funds from his Orgrimmar bank savings. Hefting a large bag of gold Venzolo quickly flew back to the skyship and immediately disappeared into the bowels of the ship and returned empty handed. He immediately took off again to do more shopping. He made several trips into the city he returned with several curious purchases. He bought a box of ghost iron ingots, along with several bolts of fine exotic tailoring materials, mainly windwool cloth from Pandaria, Embersilk from Uldum, and Gilded Seaweave from Zandalar. He also bought what looked like some supplies for enchanting. It wasn’t clear what Venzolo planned to do with these supplies but they were clearly not meant for the general crew as he stored them in his own room somewhere. After Venzolo had finished all of his shopping he again left a bit before midnight and did not return for the rest of the night. He did not return until the next day well passed when the ship was due to leave just as a search party was about to be sent for him. He looked tired and hungover but somewhat pleased with himself. After having one more massive argument with the chieftain about their destination Venzolo begrudgingly turned the ship towards the north.
❏ Illgast: Character update: While in orgrimmar, Ilgast picked up some salted meats for the Windchasers stores and supplies for his leatherwork trade. He didn't stay long away, though, Orgrimmar was busy enough without him meandering about. He gathered his things and returned to the Windchaser and remained close.
❏ Doomwinter: Doomwinter's time in Orgrimmar was relatively short. Other than spending a bit of time talking to a potential passenger, she had spent a brief time shopping for ink and other supplies for her runework before, oddly enough, disappearing into the Drag for a couple of hours. Upon her return to the ship, those on watch duty may well have noticed a distinct change in her demeanor and aura, a touch of monstrous malevolence to her normally otherwise stoic demeanor. She'd made her way directly to her cabin following, and had spent much of her time there when not on watch, a distinct change from the earlier parts of the journey, where she spent most of her time on deck staring towards their destination. Not long after the ship departed Orgrimmar, she made a point of seeking out Venzolo, though she made sure not to interrupt while he was otherwise busy steering or running the ship.
❏ Mahala: Plagued with dreams some time before arriving in Orgrimmar, Mahala didn’t speak much about it. She kept it to herself, as she usually did with most things... but upon arriving to Orgrimmar the dreams got much worse. As horrid as they made her feel, her brain kept telling her that there was some sort of hope in there. Hopefully. While the tribe was in Orgrimmar, Mahala took to herself, search high and low for a decent buyer for Death Watch. The ring was nothing but a hinderance, and even if she gifted it to someone else they would only be burdened. It would be better to fret rid of it, even under the guise of it being a normal ring. Needless to say she wouldn’t need it. With that done, she went around some of the shops, restocking on some nice thread for the upcoming leatherworking projects, and just some general supplies that required specific attention being picked out. She was close to completing the war drum she had been working on, and she had completed a large wooden bear mask that she had been working on inside her room on the skyship, but there was various pieces she had to make before her armor would be completed, especially with the new projects she was meant to undertake. At least now she had Ilgast on board. She had thought about selling the wingsuit she had found as well, but something at the back of her mind told her not to, that she’d need it for something, or someone later on. It made her think of Hotah, a little. She had yet to speak with the returned Tauren, mostly due to her fear of how he would react to her, but she knew it was about time she paid him a visit.
❏ Dursk: Dursk was bothered by dreams during the trip to Orgrimmar, and only when they reached Orgrimmar did he truly start to become bothered by them, waking up feverish. He did his best to hide this fact from the rest of the room. He was already having a hard time presenting as an orc, he didn’t need a small fever and nightmares to top it off. Wishing to take his mind off of it, he did a quick inventory of the ship and headed down into Orgrimmar to stock up on things they would need before their trip, making sure to grab any fabric and thread he would require for the next while. With his errands done in Orgrimmar, he paid a quick visit to his manager by the northern gate, gave her an update and settled some older business. It had been a long time since he had seen her, doing all their business through letters. With that all done, he returned to the ship, leaving a nicely wrapped box outside the door to Venzolo’s room, a box that held his requested hat, a rather lovely piece of work that was tailored to fit Venzolo exactly. After that... he sought out Korgig. It was time to have their chat.
❏ Korgig: The stop in Orgimmar was good for Korgig, but not for the usual reasons. He had intended to step away from the tribe as soon as they made landfill. There were a few things plaguing him: the scourge, whether this was the right path, how much glory the tribe would receive after their assured victory, and the dreams. He had been having dreams that he didn't quite understand. They lacked the usual brutal victory that most dreams he could remember contained. No these were much different and confusing. The orc volun-told Dasota that he would accompany him in Orgimmar, deciding that it would be a good opportunity to discuss matters of the fourth war with those at the wyvern's tail. It was the inn the tribe had visited after his release from the dungeon, and it held fond memories. Memories of drinking, dancing, and contests. The pair had set off as soon as they were able and hadn't returned until the Windchaser was ready to depart again. In between drinking and war stories, they were able to accomplish some bartering with local merchants and visit the city forge. Korgig even came across some materials to fashion himself a new breastplate which would provide more protection against the cold than any blows. Though he assumed where they were headed would be colder than even Frostfire Ridge!
❏ Enyetof: Enyetof has gone out of his way to buy a very large amount of raw materials in cloth, ore, and wood for use on the Windchaser, along with another large order of food and material to be delivered to the village. Between the two orders, sixty thousand gold was spent on supplies, and the Plagueshifter is still at a loss for what to do with the rest.
